Welcome to the home of radical surprises.
LifeUnloop is built around the idea that surprises are the fastest way to dissolve our loops. We are asked to take daily surprising actions, big or small. The surprises may be playful, inspiring or exciting. Or they might stretch us or make us uncomfortable. But they all work in the same way. They interrupt our loops and put us back in charge of our own life.
The brain runs on habit. Once a pattern is learned, it stops requiring conscious attention. This is useful for tying our shoes, but can become a trap for everything else. Novelty interrupts the stagnation. New or unexpected experiences pull us out of autopilot and back into the present moment. Daily surprises open room for creativity and new ways to perceive and be. They disrupt our habituated modes of being.
LifeUnloop helps people get unstuck. It works by encouraging people to try new things — with structure, inspiration, warmth, encouragement, public accountability, and above all, fun.
The Challenges
The challenges run as 30-day online #LoopBreak community events. Everyone does their daily surprises together, and posts them publicly. We support each other and cheer each other on.
The first challenge, LifeUnloop, starts in September. It is free to participate. Everyone is encouraged to invite their friends, family, coworkers and neighbors. More challenges are planned, each built around a different area of our lives.
Join us. Together, we’ll grow and challenge ourselves. We’ll expand. We’ll cry and laugh, dance and sing. Most of all, we’ll have fun. We’ll surprise ourselves into remembering who we are underneath our loops.

— Esi SemenyaYou are pure joy and this loop break challenge was such a blessing to me. I purged a lot of items that were weighing me down emotionally and will continue to move through my house, freeing myself of similar anchors. I spent quite some time learning what brings me peace, considering what I can do create more good in the world, and researched some interesting topics I’d have otherwise “not had time” to explore. You continue to help me grow every day and I am so, so grateful to you.

I met Pippa this way- her first Loop Break years ago. They are sweet, doable, and impactful. I still casually loop break all these years later and will join again.
